2016 Election Media Monitors In-Depth Report
White Plains, NY (October 17, 2016) – Media Monitors, the leader in local media monitoring, released its update on the Presidential election and the spots that both parties have been running on TV in sixty-one top DMAs (Designated Market Area) in the last ten days – October 7 – 16, 2016.
On Broadcast TV in the last ten days, Hillary Clinton For President aired 12,093 spots.
Donald Trump’s campaign ran 9,383 spots.
The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action bought 2,537 spots to promote Trump.
The Super PAC iAmerica Action and union SEIU (Service Employees International Union) ran 1,443 spots on behalf of Hillary Clinton.
The Super PAC 45Committee added 1,253 spots for Trump.
Looking at the totals, in the last ten days there were 13,536 TV spots aired for Hillary Clinton and there were 13,173 spots ran for Donald Trump.
In the last ten days, the Super PAC Priorities USA Action ran 9,383 spots against Donald Trump.
The NextGen California Action Committee added 1,352 spots against Donald Trump.
The Super PAC Rebuilding America Now bought 894 spots against Hillary Clinton.
The Super PAC Reform America Fund aired 463 spots against the Clinton campaign.
The Super PAC Voto Latino placed 261 spots against Donald Trump along with the Latino Victory Project that added 187 negative spots against Donald Trump.
Now for our totals: In the last ten days there were 11,183 spots run against Donald Trump and there were 1,357 spots against Hillary Clinton.
