RADIO:
2015 was once again a big one for THE HOME DEPOT maintaining their #1 position with 2,327,163 spots. GEICO was #2 airing 2,095,754 spots, while IHEARTRADIO took #3 with 1,652,728 announcements. MCDONALD’S stayed at #4 for another year with 1,356,818 spots and WALGREENS remained at #5 playing 1,347,204 times. MACY’S moved up from #8 to #6 airing 1,029,642 spots, while AUTOZONE was #7 with 1,027,831 spots. The US DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES was #8 running 867,044 spots and O’REILLY AUTO PARTS parked at #9 for another year with 858,678 spots. Coming in #10 was WENDY’S, up from #23, with 834,686 spots.
TELEVISION:
On Broadcast TV for 2015, the #1 advertiser was MCDONALD’S with 856,854 spots. The TOYOTA DEALERS ASSOCIATION moved from #5 to #2 last year with 736,069 spots, while PROGRESSIVE was #3 airing 723,624 spots. The FORD DEALER ASSOCIATION maintained #4 for another year with 717,187 spots and the CHEVROLET DEALER ASSOCIATION jumped from #25 to #5 running 663,172 spots. The NISSAN DEALER ASSOCIATION soared from #52 to #6 with 646,208 spots, while GEICO slipped to #7 with 633,992 spots. The HONDA DEALER ASSOCIATION moved up from #11 to #8 airing 632,650 spots and WALMART was #9 with 625,376 spots. CHRYSLER – JEEP – DODGE was #10 with 512,848 plays.
CABLE:
On Local Cable in 2015, GECIO was #1 airing 1,897,789 spots. PROGRESSIVE remained at #2 with 1,220,858 spots, while LIBERTY MUTUAL INSURANCE leapt from #8 to #3 with 1,193,998 spots. AT&T WIRELESS was #4 running 983,958 spots and BURGER KING jumped from #10 to #5 with 919,905 spots. STATE FARM was #6 with 907,178 ads, while XFINITY INTERNET-PHONE-TV catapulted from #90 to #7 with 898,021 spots. SUBWAY slid to #8 with 865,946 spots and TACO BELL was #7 airing 847,929 spots. Coming in #10 on Local Cable in 2015 was T-MOBILE with 782,676 spots.
